In Indian cricket squad for India tour of Australia 2020-21, Captain Virat Kohli will leave from Indian team.
When the Selection committee meeting held on, Indian team captain Virat Kohli informed to BCCI that he want to return India after the first test match in Adelaide against Australia. The fist test match is scheduled to take place from December 17-21.
As his wife Anushka Sharma is to give birth in January month, Virat will leave from the Indian team. Also BCCI has granted the paternity leave to Virat Kohli.
Instead of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma has been added for last 3 test matches. So, Rohit Sharma will play for Indian team after first test match. Also Varum Chakravarty left from the match due to an injury. Natarajan was replaced for him.
